Vincent Franklin – Co-Founder

What do you do?

I help clients see how we can change their business, not just their copy. I use my 15+ years of experience with words to help them see opportunities they may not have seen. And I make sure I’m here if they ever want to call me – whether that’s because someone’s not buying into the project, or because their cat’s really sick. More practically, I write copy. I support, cajole and inspire the team.  I speak at conferences and events. And I read lots and lots about what really clever people know about language, communication and business.

Why do you do it?

Because the best things happen when people understand each other, and I like helping people do that.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I’m a dad, a trainee blacksmith and an actor. I played Stewart Pearson in The Thick Of It and Nick Jowett in Twenty Twelve. I’ve just finished filming Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell for the BBC.

What’s the most difficult thing you’ve ever written?

This biog.
